Michele Kilo, MD – The Farmer’s House

The Farmer’s House mission is to empower youth and adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their best lives. Dr. Kilo is a graduate of the UMKC School of Medicine, completing both her residency and fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital (CMH). For 27 years Michele led the CMH Division of Developmental and Behavioral. In 2000 Dr. Kilo started the physician well-being program at CMH. In addition to being a founding Board Member of The Farmer’s House, Michele has served on and led numerous non-profit Boards. She has received awards for her advocacy on behalf of children’s health and well-being. Dr. Kilo currently partners with FosterAdopt Connect to serve children in the foster system as well as those adopted from the foster system. She is also a certified physician coach who supports and guides physician colleagues and healthcare professionals in achieving healthier and more fulfilled lives and careers.
